At Current Words Publishing, we believe stories matter because people matter.

We are proud allies of the LGBTQIA+ community and proud members of the Safe Space Alliance and Stand In Pride. We believe everyone deserves to be seen, respected, supported, and free to tell their story in their own voice.

Publishing has always been about sharing experiences, building understanding, and creating connections. Pride Month is a wonderful reminder of the importance of inclusion, visibility, and community, both within the literary world and beyond.

Dianne and daughter Sophie at the Pride Parade in San Francisco last year. We planned our trip not knowing the parade was at the same time, and we really enjoyed it. That was back when Sophie was wearing kooky overalls too. This year she’s too cool for that. So sad for her mom. (Where’s Dave? He kindly stayed home and watched the pets!)
