Developmental Editing
Developmental editing looks at the big picture.
We’ll explore story structure, pacing, characterization, point of view, dialogue, worldbuilding, organization of ideas, and overall effectiveness. My goal isn’t to rewrite your story, but to help you tell it as powerfully as possible.

Line Editing
Line editing focuses on the craft of your writing.
We’ll strengthen sentences, improve flow and clarity, eliminate repetition, smooth awkward phrasing, and refine your prose while preserving your individual style and voice.

Copyediting
Copyediting ensures your manuscript is clear, consistent, and professionally polished.
I’ll correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, usage, consistency, and style while editing according to The Chicago Manual of Style (CMOS), the publishing standard for most books.

Proofreading
Proofreading is the final review before publication.
This final pass catches remaining typographical errors, formatting inconsistencies, and small issues that may have slipped through earlier stages, helping ensure your finished book is ready for readers.
