I’ve got that one suspended above the planter TikTok swore would yield a bounty of raspberries and blueberries. So far, it’s only grown nasturtiums—but I remain hopeful.

It’s important to Dave and me—parents of an immigrant from Asia, and friends to people who identify in many different ways that make them who they truly are—that we let the world know where we stand. We are ardent supporters of Pride and DEI.

No matter what TACO-inspired chaos we seem to be weathering in the U.S. this year, our values haven’t changed. Neither has our love.

On this first day of Pride, we send you love, hope, and solidarity—and a reminder that we’ve always been proud of you, and even prouder to know you.
