We’re Dianne and Dave, founders of Current Words Publishing, but you may know us from years of publishing books, appearing at writing conferences, publishing a literary magazine, founding a poetry cooperative, and running workshops through DPP. We make beautiful books for talented authors, and have done so since 2017.
Today we invite you to meet us at Current Words, our new site dedicated to what we do best: serving authors. We make beautiful covers, compelling book trailers, and life-long friendships when we publish books. We love helping authors, and we want to do more. Current Words has greater ability to provide authors what they want, tailored to fit each individual’s needs. We’ve been producing books since 2017 and know that authors have unique goals and objectives.
For example, one author might aspire to have their book completed, and to obtain a box of copies to give to friends and family, while another author might want to desire to enter their book into an awards competition. There are authors seeking to publish a memoir they can share with loved ones. Authors may want a book to promote their business, or to sell or distribute at conferences and speaking engagements. Sometimes authors want to develop a books series, like a mystery series or a young adult dystopian saga, and need help growing their brand and fan base. Some authors start with us as a means to springboard to larger traditional publishing houses. Still others need help completing their book, or merely want to get a fast exceptional edit for a fair price. We’ve been providing all of these services and more for a long time, but within the bounds that indie publishing places on publication, which has sometimes tied our hands. We have developed Current Words based on our years of experience and our work with a master publishing consultant, providing us with greater agility in delivering exactly what each author desires.
Current Words is an author services publishing house dedicated to providing you, the author, what you need for your individual situation. As any of our authors will tell you, we love the writers we work with, and consider them family, and we’d love to invite you and your book to get to know us.
Happy New Year, and may this be the year your book goes from a Word document to a printed book!
Let us know how we can help you, and thanks for stopping by.
